Keep our Platform Safe
Remotasks is committed to fostering an inclusive platform. Any form of on-platform harassment, bias, exclusionary behavior, or any on-platform behavior that jeopardizes workers’ health and safety will result in appropriate action, which may include account suspension or removal from the platform.
The following indecent, inauthentic, or fraudulent behavior is prohibited on Remotasks and Remotasks-related platforms (e.g. Remotasks Community):
Respect Confidentiality
Remotasks takes its confidentiality obligations to its clients seriously and asks that you do the same. To ensure respect for this confidentiality, the following is not allowed:
Keep Our Systems Secure
You may not violate Remotasks Systems’ security or integrity or use Remotasks Systems to violate the security or integrity of any network, computer, or communications system, software application, or network or computing device. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
If at any time you become aware or have reason to believe that there has been any misuse, compromise, loss, unauthorized disclosure or acquisition of, or access to Remotasks Systems or Remotasks Materials, you agree that you will promptly notify Remotasks at [email protected].
Transparency
Remotasks ensures transparency in work allocation by specifying the methods used to manage and distribute tasks. Work allocation is determined based on onboarding status, hardware and software requirements, and geographic location. These criteria ensure that Contributors are matched with tasks they can efficiently complete. Additionally, we are committed to Contributor engagement when making substantive changes to these methods. To reinforce this transparency, we provide clear documentation outlining our work allocation processes in the FAQ, ensuring Contributors understand how tasks are assigned and when algorithms are used in the process.
Remotasks is committed to transparency and fairness in platform updates. If changes to task availability, rating systems, account policies, or work availability occur, affected Contributors will receive prior notification when feasible. While immediate action may be necessary in cases of policy violations or security risks, we will strive to provide notice before implementing changes that impact work opportunities, earnings, or account status.
Notification of Changes
Remotasks is committed to providing Contributors with a fair and transparent working environment. To support this, we will notify Contributors in advance of any changes that may impact their work or pay. This includes changes to the Terms of Use and Community Guidelines, ensuring that Contributors have the necessary time to review and adjust to the new terms. Notifications will be sent via Remotasks Community, in-platform announcements, email, or dashboard alerts. This applies to all changes, not just material ones, to ensure Contributors have sufficient time to adjust to updates affecting their work. We will make every effort to notify Contributors within a 30-day notice period.

You may not be located in or use the Remotasks Systems in any country that is subject to U.S export restrictions, currently including, but not necessarily limited to:
